FAQ

How do I use RainbowTaskbar?

Simply download and run the latest release from GitHub or Microsoft Store. You can set RainbowTaskbar to run at startup in the settings.

Find and get user-created configs in the Browse tab.

See downloaded configs and create new ones in the Configs tab. Some web configs also have options you can personalize; click the edit button to check.

How do I upload a config?

To upload a config to the workshop, you must create an account by logging in with Google or GitHub.

How can I make my own web config?

RainbowTaskbar provides a minimal API to interact with the taskbar, such as setting the style, transparency and underlay offset.

There are unlimited possibilities when it comes to web configs. You can render graphics to a plain old canvas, or use WebGL, place videos, images and more.
